Why ingrown hairs happen
Curly or coarse hair cut by a razor, or broken off by waxing, can grow back into the skin and cause bumps, redness and dark marks. They are most common on the bikini line, legs, underarms and the male neck.
How laser helps
Laser reduces the number of hairs and makes regrowth finer. With fewer, softer hairs, there is much less to grow inwards, and you can stop the shaving and waxing that cause the problem.

Questions clients ask
Can you treat an area that has active ingrown hairs?
Mild bumps are usually fine. Inflamed or infected spots need to settle first; Irina will check at your consultation.
Should I exfoliate?
Gentle exfoliation a few days after each session helps hairs shed. Avoid harsh scrubs on the day.
Will the dark marks fade?
Marks left by old ingrown hairs often fade once the cause stops. Laser hair removal does not treat the marks directly.
