How treatment works
Beard hair is dense and coarse, which makes it respond well to laser but also means it needs more sessions than most areas.
Most men come for shaping: a clean cheek line and a neat neckline, with the beard itself left alone. Others want the neck cleared because of razor bumps (pseudofolliculitis barbae), which laser can reduce a lot.

Laser works on hair that has pigment. Grey, white, red and very fine blonde hair usually does not respond; for those we offer The Smooth System.

Courses: pay for 5 sessions and the 6th is free, or pay for 6 and get 2 more free. Prices are per area and come straight from our booking system.
Plan for 8 to 10 sessions about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Beard hair is driven by hormones, so occasional maintenance is normal.

Before and after your session
Before
- Shave the area the day before. Do not wax, pluck, thread or use epilators for 4 to 6 weeks beforehand, because the laser needs the hair root in place.
- Avoid sunbathing, sunbeds and fake tan for 2 weeks before. Tell us if you have a holiday booked.
- Come with clean skin: no deodorant, creams or make-up on the area.
After
- Mild redness or warmth usually settles within a few hours.
- For 24 to 48 hours skip hot baths, saunas, steam rooms and hard workouts.
- Use SPF 30 or higher on exposed areas and keep shaving between sessions, never waxing.
- Treated hairs shed over 1 to 3 weeks. This is normal, not regrowth.

Will I lose my whole beard?
Only where we treat. We mark the line with you before the first pulse and follow it every session.
Does it help with razor bumps?
Yes. Fewer, finer hairs means fewer hairs curling back into the skin. Many men see a big difference after a few sessions.
Can I shave between sessions?
Yes, keep shaving as normal. Do not pluck or wax the area during the course.
Is it more painful than other areas?
Dense beard hair absorbs more energy, so it can feel sharper than the back or legs. The cooling tip helps, and sessions are short.
