Hormonal hair
Laser hair removal for PCOS and hormonal hair
Chin, jawline, upper lip, neck, chest or back. Laser can reduce hormonal hair a lot, but it works best with realistic expectations and a maintenance plan.
- Private, unhurried consultations
- Plan built around your hair
- Free patch test first

What laser can do
Laser reduces the hair that is there now and makes regrowth finer and slower. For many women with PCOS, that means far less daily plucking, shaving or threading.
Because the hormones that drive the growth are still active, new hairs can appear over time. Most clients need more sessions than average and a top-up every few months.
Working with your GP
Laser treats the hair, not the cause. If you have not been assessed for PCOS or hormone levels, speak to your GP, especially if hair growth is new or changing quickly.
Some medications, such as isotretinoin, affect laser treatment. Bring a list of what you take to your consultation.

Questions clients ask
How many sessions will I need?
Often 8 to 12 for hormonal facial hair, then maintenance. Irina reviews progress with you every few sessions.
Will laser make PCOS hair worse?
Rarely, laser can stimulate fine hair nearby. Irina chooses settings to reduce the risk and will tell you if your hair is too fine for laser.
Can I combine laser with medication?
Often yes, and some women see better results that way. Tell us what you take.
